Terms & Conditions — Federation of Indian Economic Affairs (FIEA)

By registering for, enrolling in, or participating in any program, training, course, workshop, conference, event, or activity conducted or facilitated by the Federation of Indian Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as “FIEA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), whether delivered online or through physical mode, you acknowledge that you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. Participation in any FIEA activity constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and FIEA.

FIEA reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to design, modify, cancel, postpone, reschedule, or restructure any program, session, or event at any time without prior notice, including changes to faculty, schedule, content, delivery method, or platform. While every effort will be made to conduct programs as announced, FIEA shall not be responsible for any inconvenience, loss, or perceived damage arising out of such changes or cancellations, except where explicitly provided under applicable refund or cancellation policies. Participation in FIEA programs does not guarantee any specific professional outcome, job placement, qualification, exemption, legal recognition, business advantage, or earning potential. All programs are strictly educational and knowledge-oriented in nature.

Attendance and certification eligibility shall always be governed by program-specific rules. In the case of online programs, attendance will be recorded digitally based on platform login and logout data, and only verified attendance records will be considered valid. Participants are required to attend the minimum percentage of the session duration prescribed for that program in order to be eligible for a certificate, wherever applicable. In the case of onsite or physical programs, participants must meet the prescribed attendance criteria to qualify for certification, and where examinations or assessments form part of the program requirement, passing such evaluation shall also be mandatory. Failure to meet any eligibility criteria will automatically disqualify the participant from receiving a certificate, and FIEA shall not entertain any request for relaxation or exception.

The language of delivery for programs may be Hindi or English, depending entirely on the preference, comfort, and professional judgment of the faculty. No obligation shall rest upon FIEA to provide translation, bilingual delivery, or separate language-specific batches unless explicitly declared. Sharing of study material, presentations, lecture notes, or digital resources is not automatic and shall remain solely at the discretion of the faculty and FIEA. Participants shall have no legal or contractual right to demand access to any slides, recordings, documents, or intellectual content beyond what the organizers voluntarily provide.

All participants are required to maintain professional, respectful, lawful, and courteous conduct throughout the duration of the program. Harassment, misconduct, abusive language, defamation, disruption, unauthorized promotional activity, or disrespectful behaviour towards the faculty, organizers, or fellow participants will not be tolerated. FIEA reserves the unconditional right to remove any participant from the session or program, without refund, without prior warning, and without any obligation to state reasons, if such behaviour is observed or suspected. Participation in FIEA programs is a privilege and not a right.

FIEA reserves the full and exclusive right to allow, restrict, refuse, withdraw, or terminate participation or membership of any individual at its sole discretion at any stage — including before, during, or after registration — without being obliged to provide justification. Submission of a registration or membership request shall not operate as a guarantee of acceptance. FIEA decisions in all administrative and operational matters shall be final, binding, and non-negotiable.

Participants are solely responsible for arranging and maintaining appropriate technical infrastructure for online programs, including a stable internet connection, functional devices, updated software, and uninterrupted power supply. FIEA shall not be liable for attendance loss, missed sessions, poor streaming quality, or inability to participate arising due to technical issues at the participant’s end. Likewise, participants attending physical programs are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, health, safety, and personal belongings.

Sessions conducted by FIEA may be recorded for academic, archival, internal, or regulatory purposes. These recordings remain the intellectual property of FIEA and may or may not be shared with participants, at the sole discretion of the organizers. Participants are strictly prohibited from recording, photographing, copying, broadcasting, sharing, transmitting, storing, or distributing any part of the session, presentation, or communication content without express written authorization from FIEA and the respective faculty. Any violation shall attract legal and disciplinary consequences, including civil claims for damages.

Course registrations, program participation rights, and certificates are strictly non-transferable. Certificates, where issued, shall be prepared only in the name entered during registration and no requests for correction, modification, or substitution shall be entertained after completion of the registration process. Participants are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of their personal details at the time of enrollment.

Membership or participation in FIEA activities does not provide any governance rights, voting rights, decision-making authority, or representational authority within FIEA. No participant or member is permitted to represent themselves as an official agent, spokesperson, decision-maker, or authorized representative of FIEA unless expressly authorized in writing. Use of the FIEA name, logo, brand identity, event branding, or intellectual content must always be in accordance with FIEA guidelines and only with explicit written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, FIEA, its trustees, office-bearers, directors, employees, faculty, associates, and authorized representatives shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, injury, liability, cost, penalty, claim, or expense arising from participation in any program, reliance on any content delivered, use of information shared during the program, or inability to participate due to any reason whatsoever. Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for all decisions they make and outcomes they derive from the educational information shared.

By registering and participating, you confirm that all information provided by you is true, correct, and complete. Any misrepresentation, fraud, impersonation, or misuse of identity will result in termination of participation and cancellation of privileges without refund or notice. You further acknowledge that FIEA reserves the right to modify, amend, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice, and continued participation after such change shall constitute deemed acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, you are advised not to register, attend, participate, or continue with any FIEA program. Your participation constitutes your unconditional acceptance of the Terms & Conditions contained herein.
